Wet disc brakes are highly efficient, yet engage very smoothly. They were designed for practically maintenance-free life. Due to the large number of plates (eight total) and their superb friction material, the brake wear is minimal. Brakes are cooled and lubricated by a continuous flow of the transmission & hydraulic oil. All brake controls such as cylinders and lines are newly designed and externally mounted.
